Lapis Sagu in the News

On 16 November, we kicked off the Lapis Sagu Film Contest at CulinaryOn, a culinary school in the heart of Raffles Place.

Our directors – Eric Khoo, K. Rajagopal, Kelvin Tong and Sanif Olek – rolled up their sleeves and got to work making lapis sagu. Over the next few months, they will go on to guide the contest winners in developing their stories on social integration into four short films.

Friends from key media joined us, including dailies, lifestyle, art and film media, and influencers. While adding their favourite colours to the lapis sagu, the filmmakers shared their thoughts on the project.
